What exactly is our Birthday Book? It is a compilation of news events from each year of their lives. The book contains a front-page newspaper from every year since their birth. Have you ever wondered what has happened throughout history on your birthday? Well, this is the book for you.

No need for newspaper clippings stored in an old box anymore, the news events, as they were told at the time, have been encapsulated in a beautiful softback cover so your memories are protected. The thickness of the birthday book will depend greatly on the age of the recipient, for every front page we include a ‘remember when’ page. These pages create the perfect space for even more personalisation. A space to add photos and messages relating to that specific year.

How your softback Birthday Newspaper book is personalised?

• Gift Box: Optional (please see image for example of gift box available)
• How is the date used?: If their birthday was 3rd July 1973, this will be the first front page to appear. After that, it’ll be 3rd July 1974, then ‘75, ‘76 and so on, all the way through until the present day.

The opening page includes a space for you to write a handwritten personal message. If you are ordering this as a gift, we recommend getting the book delivered to your home address if you would like to complete it with a personalised message. Only enter the name you wish to be printed on the book. When entering your personalisation, please note that accents, emojis and other symbols can’t be used as our system doesn’t support these. Make sure to double-check your spelling.

Ordering for a Birthday after 1998? Your birthday newspaper book will include twenty-five historical newspaper front pages, with each page followed by a ‘remember when’ page to allow you to add those extra special memories into the book. Don’t worry though, their date of birth will still be the date embossed on the cover. 

Please note: The Mirror was on strike from 26th March 1955 through to 20th April 1955. Should your chosen birth date fall within the strike period, we’ll insert a page into your Birthday Edition – Newspaper Book explaining that there were no papers available on that date.

Please note: The birthday newspaper book will only include this year’s birthday page if it is ordered 30 days after the selected date. There will be occasions (very rarely) when a front page for your exact date isn’t available. For example, no newspapers are printed on Christmas Day, Good Friday and during strikes, in which case a front page from the day after will be used.
