Your paper is a genuine original & complete newspaper (not a copy) from an available date in the 19th century or earlier.

We’ll send you an original newspaper from your chosen Year, but we can’t commit to a date in that year. We’ll send you any paper up to 1829 (that’s at least this old), but we can’t commit to a particular year prior to 1830.

The majority of our Victorian Newspapers are The Times, but this title cannot be guaranteed in every instance.

How Our Papers are Stored

For hundreds of years, newspaper back copies for each month were bound in leather binders to safeguard and shield them so researchers could access them easily. Most of our newspapers are now stored like this. As soon as a newspaper is bought, we carefully remove it from the binding and prepare it by hand for sale.

Smooth transaction: website was easy to use. I ordered the newspapers for milestone birthday. Delivery was fast ie within a few days. Newspapers came in their individual plastic wallet and own certificate of authenticity. Recipients were very curious and couldn’t wait to read what was in the news 100 years ago.nHighly recommended!
