The football books are available in a variety of covers and personalisation, depending on the edition you select. Each book will feature the recipient’s Name and a Message printed on a certificate on the opening title page as standard.

Including the black and white original reprinted reports, all the editions include colour pages, where available (for articles from 2006 onwards). Each book is skilfully bound in the hardback cover you select, printed on the highest quality gsm paper:

I bought this for my partners 40th I was really excited about it and the idea he would have all these old stories the A4 print is tiny and then a lot of pages are blurred photocopies so I’m not that happy about paying £40 for this.

The newspaper that we use for this book is the Daily Mirror, which is originally printed as a A3 tabloid size and therefore to make this A4 we do have to shrink the newspaper down which will make the text smaller.
In regards to the newspaper print quality, the scans have been archived from original microfilms which are in black and white, some of which are quite dated and can vary in quality. We do make every effort to ensure they are cleaned up prior to dispatch but we are very dependent on the scans available for each date which can be quite grainy/pixelated. It is only in recent years that full colour digital archives have been made available so the print technology from your selected year may not be as good as a print from today.

Thank you for your reply. If I had known it was going to be such small print I would have ordered the A3 size. I also think it was expensive for the quality of product. I thought the persons name would be engraved in the front cover but it was just a sticker which I had to re stick down.
