This is a great gift for lovers of history, and what better way is there to celebrate a special occasion than reminiscing about the good old days with Daily Telegraph front pages from your birth date each year? What event occurred on the day you were born without you realising it?
This special newspaper book makes a wonderful gift for any occasion, letting your loved one sit back and discover which events made the headlines on the day they were born. The Newspaper Book will include the front pages of their birth date, as well as every birthday thereafter. For example, if their birthday was 17th May 1956, this will be the first front page to appear. After that, it’ll be 17th May 1957, 1958, 1959 – you get the idea! To make this a truly unique gift, you can personalise the Daily Telegraph Newspaper Book with any Name and Date to be embossed in silver.
The thickness of the book will solely depend on the age of the recipient, so please keep this in mind when ordering.Â
For coverage from a different broadsheet, you can also view our personalised birthday book made from Daily Mirror newspapers.

Ordering for a Birthday after 1998? Your birthday newspaper book will include twenty-five historical newspaper front pages, with each page followed by a ‘remember when’ page to allow you to add those extra special memories into the book. Don’t worry though, their date of birth will still be the date embossed on the cover.Â
The cover finishes come in different colours. The standard cover is green, but you can upgrade the cover to either a leatherette cover, which is blue or navy blue premium leather. These newspaper reproductions are created from the Telegraph scan archive and in some instances, there will be blemishes and the reproduction quality may not be as clear or precise vs copying directly from the actual paper itself. Please note that Sunday Papers are not available until February 1961. The book can start with an alternative day and continue with a Sunday from February 1961 onward.
Please note: The birthday newspaper book will only include this year’s birthday page if it is ordered 30 days after the selected date. There will be rare occasions when a front page for your exact date isn’t available. For example, no newspapers are printed on Christmas Day, Good Friday, Sundays until February 1961 and during strike periods, in which case a front page from the day after will be used.
